Queens Royal: Sudoku Puzzle is a logic-puzzle game based on a 19th-century classic chess challenge known as the Eight Queens Puzzle. It has elements similar to modern Minesweeper and Sudoku.
With the challenge, a player attempts to place eight on an 8x8 chessboard without any piece threatening another's position. In this modern version, the player must position the queens on 10x10 boards in ways that prevent attacks along columns and rows, in diagonal positions, and in the same color zones.
The game offers two modes (i.e., Endless Game and Daily Challenge). Each queen is represented by a white crown icon. The player places a single crown on a square within a color zone. They can't place any crowns on the same row or column or in diagonally adjacent positions. If they succeed, all of the white icons transform into ruby-encrusted gold crowns, and confetti pops onto the screen. The game gives the player thousands of boards and levels in Endless Game mode.
Unlike Minesweeper, Queens Royal: Sudoku Puzzle doesn't penalize the player for making mistakes. If the player places a crown in the wrong position, it alerts them by marking every affected square with diagonal red lines. The player removes this warning by removing the poorly placed crown.
If desired, the player can adjust the game's settings to auto-fill any space that isn't a legitimate one for crown placement. They can also use payment- and penalty-free unlimited Undo and Hint buttons.
